Chain Letter by Christopher Pike! :P I read it in junior high and got freaked out!
ReplyDeleteThe Bone Collector :O I read it freshman year and it definitely spooked me.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've read a really scary book. Maybe the Supernatural books.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway, and congrats on your followers! :))
~Andrea K.
I usually avoid scary books being a bit of a wuss. I can't really answer this one, sorry.
ReplyDeleteThe scariest book I've ever read is The Red Dragon by Harris, it kept me up for nights!
ReplyDeleteI have stumbled through a few Ted Dekker's, and read Bone Collector.
ReplyDeleteIt by Stephen King.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway & have a Happy New Year!

I don't read scary books. Lots of books by John Grisham and Tess Gerritsen keep me on the edge of my seat and creep me out though.
ReplyDeleteHm, I don't really read scary books either - I love murder mysteries though. The scaries one was probably Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None.
ReplyDeleteI honestly would have to say that It by Stephen King was the scariest book I ever read. I started reading it during a bad thunderstorm...big mistake! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteHey! The scariest book I've read was Aftertime. It's a zombie book and really freaky. :0

One of the few books that really creeped me out, (to a point when I thought to myself that maybe I should stop reading it until the next day when it will be day, but in the end I couldn't stop myself reading it through the night until I finished it), well that book was The Restorer by Amanda Stevens! I read it from a galley & I'm planning to buy the whole trilogy! So, yeah, that one is one of the scariest books I've read ;) Congrats on the followers & thanks for the giveaway! Great books to choose from, all are on my wishlist! Oh, and I almost forgot ;) Happy New Year!!!
ReplyDeleteI've never read a really scary book. I love Agatha Christie and her thriller books though. And Then There Were None is one of my favorite.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your followers!
Thanks a lot for the giveaway and Happy New Year!
Hmm, the scariest book I ever read was probably something in the Pendergast series by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. Cabinet of Curiosities and Still Life With Crows were especially creepy. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteGreat Giveaway, I have not read a scary one yet!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for this giveaway. I don't read many scary books, so the scariest one I read was Darkhouse by Karina Halle
ReplyDeleteI read the Shining when I was a teen and it scared the pants off of me!!
ReplyDeleteThe most scary book I ever read would have to be IT by Stephen King. I was pretty young when I read it and it terrified me (but in a good way).
ReplyDeleteCongrats on all the followers!!
Thanks so much for the giveaway I think one of the scariest books I have read would be Where Darkness Dwells By Glen Krisch.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your followers
Anything by Dean Koontz give me funky dreams. But I love reading them.
ReplyDeleteMary Higgins Clark books when I was in junior high really freaked me out!!! And more recently, Monsters of Pennsylvania, because they're supposed to be 'true' stories!
ReplyDeleteThank you for this giveaway! And COngratulations for your increasing followers =) You deserve it. Happy new Year to you and may you have a great year ahead! Happy reading and enjoy blogging =)
ReplyDeleteOh, and the most scary book I've read? Hmm... I don't read horror books so I can't think of anything else but WAKE by Lisa McMann. I finished the whole series and it was good. I'm easily scared but glad that I read it. hehe
ReplyDeleteI don't usually read scary books! This would be a new genre for me :)
ReplyDeleteHonestly almost anything can scare me so I try to stay away from scary books. The scariest book I have read is The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting, when you get inside the killers head it creeped me out, and I did not sleep well that night. The power of reading...
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever read a scary story... not haunting... but in late years the most chilling is between Treasure Island (how can little children have been allowed to read it!) and The giver. Dystopian novels are generally chilling.
ReplyDeleteThe scariest book I had read was the Scortch Trail of the Maze Runner series by James Dashner! I couldn't sleep at night so I advoided reading at night. I only read when there was the sun. When the sun went down, baby, I'm putting the book down no matter what! I was so scared that one of the flared person would appeared in front of me...no worst was thouse creature appeared behind me...*shivers* I freaked out reading the book. Best book of the whole series. :)
ReplyDeleteIt has to be IT by Stephen King but recently it was Possess by Gretchen Miller.
ReplyDeleteI don't read too many scary books, but I read BAD GIRLS DON'T DIE by Katie Alender. It was definitely spooky, but it didn't have me wanting to keep all the lights on at night or anything like that.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway! Congratulations on the great achievement with the followers. :)
The most scary book I've ever read it's Dracula by Bram Stoker; I was very young when I did :)
ReplyDeleteThanks fort this international GA :)
I;ve never read any really scary books but I guess Stepsister by R.L. Stine gave me the creeps when I was reading it when I was younger:)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for this awesome giveaway! And congrats on getting 200 followers! I'm glad I'm one of them.
ReplyDeleteGoosebumps always scared me!:)
ReplyDeleteI love scary books!
ReplyDeleteI love Dean Koontz. Shattered, his first book, freaked me out and so did Velocity. What I love is that they are psychologically scary...they could actually happen, which I think is more scary that make-believe monsters.
Thanks for the giveaway!
Not exactly scary, more like creepy: Deadly Little Secrets. Stalkers scare the bejezzus outta me O_O
ReplyDeleteThe scariest book I've read was The Hot Zone by Richard Preston. It may be non-fiction, but it was truly frightening.
ReplyDeleteI would like to read all the books, but the Rook Hastings books look good.
ReplyDeleteIt by Stephen King. I don't even want to remember it. *starts looking around*
ReplyDeleteI haven't read many scary books, but so far, I think it is Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn.
ReplyDeletemaria_will_irma(at)yahoo(dot)com
The most scary book I've read...wow, that's a tough one. I can't really think of a book that has made me scared. Possibly Jurrasic Park. Hmm...perhaps I should read more scary books.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever read a really scary book. I'd say the Goosebumps series creeped me out though, mostly when I was younger XD

ReplyDeleteLoovveeeddd the Devouring. It was so creepy and scary. The second was really sad. :( Great giveaway though!
ReplyDeleteHmm, I haven't read tons of scary books! I remember when I was in seventh grade, though, I read "Cat" by RL Stine (from his Fear Street series), and literally, I was not able to read another shapeshifter book until probably my freshman year in high school!
ReplyDeleteDean koontz is pretty adept at freaking me out lol :P
ReplyDeleteOoooh! I love scary books :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
The scariest book I've ever read was Shadoweyes by Kathryn Ptacek. I read it about 15 years ago and I couldn't sleep with the lights off afterwards :) I'm planning on reading it again soon just to see if it's still as scary :)
I haven't actually read any horrors, but J. Deaver's series Lincoln Rhyme can be really scary.
ReplyDeleteAll of Dean Koontz books are scary and Stephen Kings. But the most scary is the Frankenstein series by Koontz. God, I love it!

ReplyDeleteok, i'll pick Cujo and IT for THE MOST frightening and scary books EVER!
The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova
ReplyDeleteThe Shining by Stephen King. There was one moment in there that had me terrified for 2 weeks straight. After that though, nothing has really terrified me as much :P
ReplyDeletethriftshopgrrl AT hotmail DOT com
The most scarest book I've ever read would be when I was a kid and I read a book called "Scary Stories to tell in the dark" those stories were scary @_@ when I was a kid!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great giveaway!
The most scary book ever...
ReplyDeleteI can't really say it because all the books I've read so far didn't scare me. So hopefully I win something so I can read a scary one!

The Devouring by Simon Holt! I notice that's you've giving it away and it's super creepy :)
ReplyDeleteStephen King, Dean Koontz and Robert McCammon all have the ability to scare the heck out of me. The first book I remember reading that fightened me so much that I couldn't sleep was Salem's Lot by S. King.
ReplyDeleteI haven't really read a whole lot of scary books. I started reading the Descent, and it wasn't really scary but disturbing. It gave me dreams of being trapped in small places with little blind men trying to eat me...
ReplyDeleteReally I suppose I ought to say one of the Goosebumps books as some of those used to scare me out of my wits when I was little! But I can't remember anymore which ones I actually found scary. Other than that, anything by Stephen King I've found I cannot read before bed or I end up with nightmares!
ReplyDeletePet Sematary by Stephen King is the scariest I've ever read
ReplyDeleteThe scariest book I've read was Cell by Stephen King.. Thanks for the giveaway and for making it international.
ReplyDeleteI love to read true ghost stories but I can't remember any of them really scaring me
ReplyDeletei do not knwo i read so many put pet crematory is about the scary one
ReplyDeleteThe scariest book I have read is The Shining. I couldn't finish it. I was terrified.
ReplyDeleteI don't like scarry books, so the closest I would get would be The Phantom of the Opera or Forest of Hands and Teeth.
ReplyDeleteZombies Don't Cry: A Living Dead Love Story by Rusty Fischer
ReplyDeleteThe scariest book I read was the first Dexter book and Anna Dressed in Blood. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read many scary books but The Deepest Cut by J.A. Templeton was really scary!
ReplyDeleteProbably Pet Sematary, although all books written by Stephen King are scary.
ReplyDeleteI try my best to steer clear of scary books but sometimes I can't help it. I have to say Anna Dressed In Blood has to be one of the scariest.
ReplyDeleteUhm.. I have a strange relationship with horror books.. I think they're very fascinating, but they scare me a lot ahah xD
ReplyDeleteAnyway, the most terryfing was La psichiatra by Dorn Wulf, (it's a german book, this the italian title).
It really scared me ahah!
Thanks for such a great giveaway. I would say the scariest book I've ever read would be The Turn of the Screw by Henry James. It's probably not scary by today's standards but the atmosphere is very eerie and its very creepy in a psychological kind of way.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway. I would have to say the Harry Potter books. This could be that i was reading them all when i was pregnant.
ReplyDeleteI loved "Shutter Island". It is a really great book. Even better once you finish it and finally know what the heck was going on, haha!
ReplyDeleteThe Shining by Stephen King
ReplyDeletejmesparza821(at)gmail(dot)com
'Thinner'
ReplyDeletejessicawedwards@gmail.com
Anything by Stephen King. Shining/Thinner etc.
ReplyDeleteSTEPHEN KING's Misery, it wasn't so scary(cause I am a freak and don't get scared at all) but the situation, how he described it, just awesome.
