  1. I was talking about horror movies to a friend, we just love to talk about the subject... and we found out the two of us can deal with a lot in terms of horror movies/series/books/anime... but, when it comes to GOUGING EYES... IT FREAKS US OUT!!!

Also, I sent a picture of a girl from Ju-On, the original Japanese movie that inspired The Grudge... when we were chatting about spoilers and I said I can hold a grudge regarding that (some S.O.Bs had RUINED the ending of an anime/manga for us orz...) and sent her THIS PICTURE and she was immediately freaked out! lol http://www.qdss.it/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/ju-on-the-grudge-2-original.jpg

By the way, lemme see if I have THE COURAGE to watch this and Ringu all over again without fainting... hehe

Thanks so much for the giveaway and the chance to win. I love horror, I <3 halloween (I was even born on the 31st, yay!) xD

  2. Well, honestly, nothing scares me. I mean there are parts in a movie that will make me jump, but nothing scary or anything. Unless it has to do with spiders, then I go full out into panic attack mode!

  3. One night I had stayed up really late to finish reading And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. It was about two in the morning and I was living in a sleep out so I had to go outside to go to the bathroom. Anyway, I needed to go to the bathroom and I was a bit jumpy after reading the book so I made my boyfriend go with me inside. When we were about halfway to the house I could hear someone coming up the gravel driveway and my boyfriend and I freaked out completely and ran into the house. It turned out it was my boyfriend's sister's boyfriend coming back from a late shift but man that was so scary.

  4. i would love to win the forbidden game ( hoping it's not too dark horror^^;; as i'lm quite teh chicken)
Something scary? Long ago, at school ( i was staying on the premises) i went for a walk in the little forest just behiond teh school. i loved it there. One day i was there i met a old woman...we started to speak and since she was gathering herb she told me about some... all of them for respiratory illness, for helping the lung etc. I didn't think more of it until a few days later when i had decided to gather some of those in case the priest saw me and came asking what i was doing. when i told him and described the woman he was quite ill at ease telling me there hadn't been such a woman in the village for years ... oki that was scary then but at teh same time i had gotten a protective feeling from her so i didn't think more of it....
Safe that years laters i got a really rare and dire lungs illness and since then i'm more vulnerable to respiratory virus so i wonder now if she wanted to protect me and i regret not having be more careful ( taking note of the remedy composition etc)

  7. Thank you for all your help with Wicked, Veronica! Much appreciated. Hmmm as far as something spooky... after my father in law passed I had these torch lamps in my front living room that went on when you touched them for months after he died the would inexplicably click on and off, and then after awhile they just stopped. The hadn't done it before and they didn't do it after.. Creepy!

  22. Have you heard/seen the video of Candle Cover on Youtube? It's about three people talking on a forum about this old kids show they used to watch. Slowly they start remembering creepy things like how there was an episode where the puppets were just screaming for half an hour - but what's creepy was that their parents told them that they'd just sit and watch static for an hour and Candle Cover...just some creepy thing children thought they were watching.

  26. First off I believe in and have seen and felt my fair share of ghost. One time when I was home alone when I was 14 years old and I saw the reflection of an African American man's legs and feet reflected on the door of our oven behind me. I personally was not very freaked out because I had seen him before around the house and I actually didn't feel scared or feel anything negative from him. In the same house my whole family and myself would constantly hear the bathroom door open and close when we were in the shower and the shower curtain would move too, now this did freak me out quite a bit at first but we ended up just getting used to it.
    Thank you for the giveaway!

One summer night, me and my cousins decided to sleep in an attic in a vacation house we are renting. Midnight comes only me and my 2 cousins are the only awake at that time. Then suddenly, we heard a footsteps on the stairs. We waited until someone shows up but none and then a hammer sounded at the part of the roof we are facing. We are scared
but we didn't wake our cousins sleeping. Life goes on like what happened was nothing because we are once told that when something like that happen, forget it and leave them alone so that it won't bother you.

  57. I went to Universal Studios in LA during one of my summer internships, as part of our goofing off for 4th of July weekend. We entered the haunted house there. It's...pretty well done would undersell it. They have the rights to all of those horror characters, and they take complete advantage of it. Normally, haunted houses don't bother me. I laugh and wave and say hi to the actors, enjoying how freaked out everyone else is. However, I also had it ingrained in my head from a haunted house in high school that if you don't touch them, they won't touch you... That wasn't the case here. You walk over a bridge at one point with hands grabbing at your ankles/lower legs. Kind of shocked me. I *hate* having people I don't know touch me. Was recovering from bronchitis at the time, so the shock knocked the breath out of me. I had to be let out a side door by one of the actors. Really embarrassing. We went to Disney the next day (I'd never gone before), and I got nervous just waiting for the Haunted Mansion to start up. Which I know now was totally ridiculous... :-P

  58. I've never really been bothered or phased by scary movies but one thing that has always freaked me out and made my skin crawl is the part in Pet Semetary where the toddler slices the old man's achilles tendons! It's weird for that to be 'scary', but it is! And I actually LOVE bloody, gorey movies!

  66. Something scary---when I was in middle school I kept having the same dream where my parents are killed almost every night for several months. They dream never changed and happened so often I started to believe it would happen. A one time dream would have been dismissable but over 50 times is terrifying at age 12. Especially when a couple years later we were on a road trip and a town we drove through had a building complex just like the one in my dream. If the other lady in my dream had been with us I would have lost it.

Zombies really... really creepy me out... so the scariest book I've read so far has been the Forest of Hands and Teeth series... some people might think that it isn't that scary really, but sometimes I had a hard time getting to sleep at night, especially if I was just reading it before turning the lights off.
