Inspired by Pop Culture Junkie and the Story Siren, the aim of Showcase Sunday is to highlight our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders each week. Hey guys! Happy New Year and all that! This is my first Showcase Sunday of the year, so it's a pretty big and I'd better get started.
So many books!!! I am so excited for my Christmas Haul.
Leave me links with your new book hauls and I'll make sure to stop by.
Physical Books
I Am so excited for all of them. I've already re-read D.Gray-Man and I plan on buying all the volumes in the series. And I want to start reading The Circle ASAP, it sounds so good. I love witch stories.
Also, a friend and co-worker of mine moved out of the country and the last day before he moved we were talking about books and stuff and he decided to leave me his copy of Shaman's Crossing by Robin Hobb, since I never read her books.
E-Books

I cannot wait to start Hobb's books, I heard so much of her, and it's just my thing, fantasy and all. And as for the freebies, I have almost all of them myself! I'm also hosting Freebie February to read them in next month. :D
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
MY haul!
So much to read!
ReplyDeleteWhoop, what an awesome haul!!! Afraid looks creepy. I have The Circle and Gated. Ive never read Hobb myself so look forward to seeing your review. Enjoy all the ebooks, some of them sound awesome.
ReplyDeleteNice haul. I've got to check out this Lucky Number 4. I've seen it on a few blogs so far. I've no idea what it's about but it's gotta be good if everyone is reading it.

My! You have done well. http://booketta.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/feeding-my-e-reader-8-what-postman.html
ReplyDeleteYou got a lot of books this week! I really enjoyed Persephone even though I normally don't read a lot of mythology books. The Debt Collector series is really good, I am curious to hear what you think of it!
ReplyDeleteI own some of the bleach manga and still plan on buying the rest of the first story-arc once. I have also read some of the D-gray man manga's, but it wasn't really the series for me.
What a cool haul! The best way to start the year is with plenty of books!
ReplyDeleteSo nice of your co-worker to leave you his copy of a book!
Happy reading!
The Grimm Diaries prequels are a great read. I liked some more than others, though. They are packed with so much information. The Debt Collector is one of my all time FAVORITE reads of last year! I LOVE Lirium! Enjoy him! Great haul! My STS: http://www.thecovercontessa.com/2014/01/stacking-shelves-2.html
