Showcase Sunday #14

Inspired by Pop Culture Junkie and the Story Siren, the aim of Showcase Sunday is to highlight our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders each week. Welcome back to October's first Showcase Sunday. I love October so much.Mostly because of Halloween, even though we don't celebrate Halloween in Greece I have my own traditions. Watching the four Halloweentown movies in lunch time and movies like Trick 'r Treat and Freddy vs Jason right before bed. Also I am in the mood for scary books, so I am really glad for some of the books bellow.

Physical Books
The first two books in the Percy Jackson series. I know so many of you have read them. I watched and loved the first movie so I thought with the spin-off series already out I should start reading these books. I've already started reading The Lightning Thief and love it so far. Being Greek does give me a unique perspective in these books.

E-Books
Comes the Night: Wilson's & Doherty's new creepy book. I am so excited to read this one. I've read their precious ghost book Ashlyn's Radio and it was really scary. This book even takes place in an Academy. Oh, and did I mention is FREE on Amazon...
Psyched: I got this one for free too. I have to say I got it mostly based on how scary the cover looks. So, I just hope it's good.

Angus MacBain and the Island of Sleeping Kings: This book looks like a sweet story. I can't wait to read it.

These are all the books I got this past week. Leave me a link to your new book hauls in the comments and I'll make sure to visit them.
