Hello guys! It's been a while since I posted a book haul and as you will soon find out it was not for lack of books but mainly due to lack of time. Still I managed to get quite a few new books these past few weeks, mainly manga, since I was in a huge manga mood. So here are all my new loves.

Where to begin? See? I got so many books. Well, I've already read all the manga and loved them all. Doubt and Judge are complete series from a new (for me) artist so I was extra excited to read them. They are horror and really amazing, sick stuff. Other horror reads in this haul are Trapped and Endurance, I loved Kilborn's other book, Afraid, so I am looking forward to more scares.

I finally got a copy of Good Omens, and a beautiful one at that, I've heard some amazing things about this book and I read a few pages in the Underground and all I can say so far is that the hype is real. Also read The Other Life, really good post apocalyptic book and I am currently buddy reading A Question of Proof with Vicky from Books Biscuits and Tea. I also bought another book By James Dawson, Under My Skin, I love his books so far.

And finally, the one book that I am most excited to finally own is Midkemia: The Chronicles of Pug by Raymond E. Feist. Feist's Riftwar Cycle (30+ books) was the first Epic Fantasy series I've read so I am emotionally attached to it and this is a beautiful book for all fans of Midkemia.

Hello guys! Welcome back to this week's book haul. I didn't expect to get so many books this week. But, as it turned out, me going to Coventry for a workshop only brought me more shopping. If you didn't know, Coventry is the home of Lady Godiva. You know, the lady that rode naked through the streets to oppose her husband (there was a Charmed episode about it, that's mainly how I know about who she was).
Anyway, back to the new books. A trip to charity shops in my old neighborhood, another one to the charity shops of Coventry and finally going to watch a movie close to a shopping center helped me obtain all the following books.

I am oh, so excited about every single one of them. I've already read The Bunker Diary and it was pretty intense. It really messed me up. If only there was some more at the ending it would be a 5 star read.

Another week has gone by another book haul I have acquired. Hey that rhymed! Anyways, this weeks it was very busy for me. I moved from my previous apartment to my new one and I finally have my own room. It's so wonderful to be alone sometimes :)
This was also the week I became an Amazon Prime member and ordered some things. Love being in the UK.

I am very excited for all of them except for Saga. I've already read that one and didn't quite enjoy it. So that's pretty much all I got this past week. What did you guys buy?

Welcome back everyone. This is a Showcase Sunday post to show you guys all the books I got the past 2 weeks. And some other added bookish thing I acquired through those weeks.

All those books I got from charity shops at my neighborhood. Turns out I have 5 of them so close to my house, I just needed to know what to look for. Also got a Book Nerd tote from Waterstones, it was so cute, I couldn't resist it. And a mug that says Fif-tea shades of Earl Grey (again from a charity shop)

Welcome, to this week's SS. I wasn't even planning to do one this week, because I haven't bought any books. However, yesterday, I've met up with Vicky (our lovely host from Books Biscuits and Tea) and we visited a few charity shops at Camden. Surprisingly enough, I only found one book, but it was a great deal and it's a book I am dying to read.

I am not a huge fan of the UK covers but it was only £2 so I had to have it. I still haven't read any Joe Abercrombie books, but I own a few and I've been hearing some great things about them.

What did you get this last week?

Welcome, to this week's Showcase Sunday. Yes, I am back doing this posts weekly and the reason why is that... I moved to London. I always wanted to live there and now I have the chance (at least for the next four years). Now if only I can make some friends here. My PhD starts tomorrow and I can't wait to meet everyone at the office. Coming here I realized that it doesn't matter where you are if you have no one you care about there. So bring on the friends, London!

Anyways, let's go back to the books. I decided that since I was here it was only proper to visit some of the famous bookstores: Foyles and Waterstones. I have to say I loved Foyles, it's so beautiful, a true book paradise. I was a bit underwhelmed by the Waterstones close to Leceister Square (maybe the other branches are bigger and better). Here is a photo from Foyles.
I told you, book paradise. So of course I bought some books. Who wouldn't? Here are the books I got.

I had made a deal with myself that the book I would buy in London would be The Rose and the Thorn, and I actually kept it. This will be my next read.
Also, I thought what a better way to celebrate my coming to London than buying a book from a British author I love, James Dawson. Say Her Name seems so creepy, I can't wait to pick it  up.
Finally, I think I already had been sent Brew by the author, but it was free on amazon so I picked it up just in case.

Welcome, my dear readers, to this month's book haul. I haven't made a Showcase Sunday post in such a long time. I am currently at my hometown (been here since March) and I am not buying any physical books so I don't have a new haul that much. But all this will change in a few days. I am moving to London on the 29th and I am sure I will acquire some new books there. I am so excited! But for now, here are the books I got this past month.

Audiobooks

I've already read The Faerie Guardian and it was an amazing read, I am looking forward to the rest of the series. I won The Moon Dwellers audiobook by David Estes and I am currently listening to it (only 2 hours left) and it's awesome. Such a great book. Also looking forward to the rest of the series. And finally, The Jester and Professional Integrity are short stories in the Ryiria Chronicles and they are free. Cause Michael Sullivan is just that cool. These are set after the second book in Chronicles so I have to read that one first (guess which book I'll buy first when in London).

E-Books

After reading a single review I was completely sold on The Red Mohawk. Also the author is anonymous, that's so mysterious. All the other ebooks are ones I really want to read and they were either free or very cheap, so I grabbed them. And that's pretty much all the books I got this past month.

Welcome to this month's SS. As I mentioned before I am currently back at my hometown for a few months until I leave for London at the end of July. I can't wait. I don't know what to expect but I am so excited to spend the next 3 to 4 years (maybe more) there.

Since I got back, I decided that I should read as many of the books I already own, because I won't be able to take many with me when I leave. I also decided not to buy any new physical books until I am in London, where I will probably go crazy. So you won't be seeing many books in my monthly SS until August.

Here are the books I got in March:

A Few Words:
As you can see I got very few books this past month. First there is Hellsbane, which was a free kindle book. It sounds really good and I just can't resist free books. My e-reader is about to explode from all the unread books.
I also received physical copies of the first two books int the Lines that Bind series by Anna Lazaridis. They look really good and the books have that soft feeling I love. I hope I can get to them before I leave for London.

Welcome to my second SS for this year. This month a lot of crazy (good crazy) things happened in my life. First, I had my first interview with a University about a PhD position, which I thought went terrible. Four days after that I had to present my Masters Thesis. Even though I am not usually very good at presentations, having blown the interview because I was nervous, I had no more anxiety. I though that nothing could be that bad as that interview, so I aced my presentation! Yes, I am finally finished with my Masters degree. A couple of days later, I had started packing up my things to move back to my hometown at the other end of Greece, I had given up on the PhD position and was already making plans for getting a temp job and sending more applications wherever I can find, when an email arrived. I was surprised to read: I GOT THE PHD POSITION. A crazy dance and  a lot of screaming followed. And here I am now, not even a week later, I still can't believe I got the position and the best part? It's in LONDON. I always wanted to live there. And I'll be there for at least the next three years. It seems so surreal. I can't wait for July to come so I can move there. I am also looking forward to meeting any UK bloggers. Finally people I can talk books with, in person.

Anyway, that was what happened to me this crazy month. I am moving back to my hometown in 10 days and then I'll spend there 4 months getting excited and ready for LONDON. But let's talk books now. This last month I got some pretty exciting new books.

A Few Words:
I am so excited for many of those books. I am currently reading Jurassic Park and it is surprisingly good. I think I will watch all movies once I am done, then hopefully move on the the second book.
Fire & Flood is the book that I am most excited for (having already read Seraphina like 3 years ago). I sounds so good. I'll probably pick it up soon.
The rest books are two audiobooks, Nobody and The Squad, two freebies, Gravity and Bound by Prophecy, and a book I won, Perfect Ruin.
I am really looking forward to all of them especially the audiobooks because so far I loved anything I read by Jennifer Lynn Barnes.

Welcome to the first SS of the year. Hopefully this year I can control my buying insticts and finally reduce my huge TBR pile. It's over 200 books, so it's not even funny anymore. I don't have any specific resolutions for buying books but I want to reduce my physical TBR pile to 150 books. Hope I can manage that.

So, for the month of January I bought 7 books, 1 audiobook and received one more book for review. So 9 new books added to my TBR which is not that bad. Trust me, I struggly everday to stop myself from getting more, it could have been so much worse. Well, here are the books:

A Few Words:

More John Scalzi books! I've read Old Man's War at the beginning of the month and loved everything about it, so I went ahead and bought Fuzzy Nation and an audiobook of Redshirts, narrated by Wil Wheaton (his voice is perfect for sci-fi or pretty much any book)!

Then I bought a couple of huge fantasy books, The Red Knight and Empire in Black and Gold, that I am not really sure what they are about. I only know that people loved them and it's very easy for me to love a good old fantasy book, so it was an easy decision.

I also got Soulless, which is a Steampunk book that everyone pretty much loves. I am a huge fan of Steampunk but haven't read as much of it as I would like. Soulless seems the perfect start to a series.

I bought Shadow Kiss, book 3 in the Vampire Academy series. Even though I was a bit dissapointed by the end of the second book, I am willing to give this one a try. But if I don't like it as much as I want to, this will be the end of the series for me.

Another book I got, even though I wasn't a big fan of the first one, is Spirit and Dust. I am glad that this one is about different characters and setting from the first book and that Daisy is making a comeback. Hope this one will be more fast-paced than the first one.

Finally I got two ebooks, Between was on sale and it sounds really great and I received Playing Hooky for review, also a book that sounds great for me. I will probably start reading Playing Hooky by the end of this month and I will share my thoughts with all of you.

Hello everyone! Sorry for the delay in December's book haul, but as it was expected, last month was crazy. On Dec. 10th I came back to my hometown for Xmas (a little early, I know) and I am still here. I will be traveling back to my Uni City in a week or so, but unfortunately most of my books are currently back at my hometown. I will miss them so much...

Anyways, now let's talk new books. I was a very nice kid the last month. I managed to only buy a few books, and most of them were manga which I read already. So my TBR pile didn't receive a big hit. Here are the books I got this December.

D.Gray-Man Vol.22 | Vol.23 | Vol.24
A Few Words:

I am so sad that there are no more D.Gray-Man volumes (and there probably will never be). It's one of those stories that really stucks with the reader and it's killing me that it's unfinished. But anyways, I'll try not to rant, again, about it.

Audible happily surprised its users this Christmas with a free copy of The Snow Queen. I loved the movie back in the day and I wonder how similar the book is to it.

Finally, I got 3:59. This is the only Gretchen McNeil book I haven't read. I love her writing and I am sure I will love this book too. I can't wait to pick it up.
