This is the third ongoing giveaway for my growing followers. In this one I am celebrating 350 followers. There is one more to come and if I reach 450 another one! This giveaway is all about Dystopian books, hence the title:
My Dystopian Life
I became a huge fan of Dystopian books after the Hunger Games, so I decided to make a giveaway about some dystopian books I think are great (some of them I haven't read but have heard so many great things about)
One of you will get the chance to win one book listed below.
I would like to live in the world of the book "Enclave. True it's probably one of the more harsh worlds but Deuce was just such a badass that I couldn't help but pick it.
I'd love to read Divergent. Also, I'm not making the following comment to be confrontational, but I think it's a little ironic that you're having a contest to celebrate your followers, while at the same time giving the "average follower" 2 chances to win and other bloggers potentially 20 chances to win. I've noticed this same 1:10 ratio in your other 2 giveaways.
I would not want to live in a dystopian world, since they're all so, well, dystopic! Now, if you were to ask which dystopian world I find most interesting and developed, I'd go with _____ of THE HUNGER GAMES.
With all the other dystopians the set-ups of the societies all leave so many questions unanswered. Which is fine, since they will be continued on and whatever. But in even the first book (I've only read #1 of THG so far) there is so much laid out for us. I also like that the concept doesn't sound so far-fetched -- even The Hunger Games serve a purpose that the Capitol believe is justified.
I'm not sure that I'd like to live in any of these dystopian worlds, because I'm a wimp! LOL But I guess I'd live in Divergent if I had to. I doubt I'd last long though ;)
I've not actually read a dystopian novel that I would WANT to live in. While it makes an amazing story, it makes for a crappy life. Thanks for the giveaway!
None of the dystopian worlds sound very appealing! LOL If I had to choose, it would probably be Divergent as well, because they have some choices at least! Thanks for the awesome giveaway:)
I'd love to read Divergent. (: and can't tell you which world would be better because I haven't read any of the books. *I know shame on me* Thanks for this giveaway!!
Well, I would not want to live in the world of Uglies or The Hunger Games. Neither sound exactly like a setting one would want to find themself in. So I guess I would go for the world of Divergent, even though I haven't read it yet. =)
Honestly...I don't think I want to live in any of those worlds...the best for me would probably be Divergent's world, but that's still a bit iffy :P I feel like I'd die much faster in all of them xD
I really don't think I would really want to live in any dystopian world. Unless I was really brave and could be a hero, but otherwise just seems like I would be a brain washed fool. Great giveaway!
I'd love to read Divergent! I've heard great things about it and I love dystopia :) I've only read the hunger games from the list above but I wouldn't want to live there lol so I'm going with divergent :P
What a tough question! I wish I had a good answer! To be honest, I don't think I'd mind living in Michael Grant's "Gone" world. The idea of those fifteen and older just being...gone, hahah, is really amazing! It'd be a great, maturing experience!
Congrats on all your followers! 350 is quite the accomplishment!
I don't think I'd want to live in a dystopian world- the reason I like them so much, or one of the reasons, is because they are so unlike our own- they make you greatful... Possible in the world of Matched or Days Like This, if I had to choose, so I could fight to make the world better.
I haven't read a whole lot of dystopians, but I guess I'm going to go with Uglies' world so I could live in the old Smoke before the time in which Uglies itself was set. :)
Those are a great selection of books. Thanx for hosting the giveaway!!! I'd want to live in Divergent's world. (Hunger games would be my second choice).
I don't think I'd love to live in a dystopian world, even though I love reading about them! But if I had to choose one, it would most likely be the setting of the Gone series by Michael Grant. Wouldn't it be awesome to be caught in the middle of an ultimate battle between good and evil? :D Although, I don't I could live with the Hunger and stuff lol
Um...I think all dystopian worlds are scary and not fun to live in. But if I have to choose one, I'll pick the Ugly series because that series is the first dystopian series I read and I find it the most unique. :)
I would like to live in a dystopian world with zombies so i can kick some zombies butts, haha or maybe in the Divergent world! I love Hunger Games and all but I would't like to live in District 12 or 11! Poor Rue! :( Thank you so much for the giveaway!
Honestly I love these type of books, but I wouldn't love to be in any of them because then you would be in a controlling world. You wouldn't be able to do all the things you would want to.
I don't think I'd want to live in any of the dystopian societies. Too harsh for me. If I had to pick one, it would probably be Uglies world as least I could be ignorant (bubbly) of what was going on.
I've read very little dystopian titles. The only one that comes to mind is Delirium and only because of the amazing love story. If I could run away with my love from a world like that... and survive, I guess I'd choose that.
I'd love to live in Divergent, I love the idea of the different fractions, and belonging to one of them. I would choose Erudite! :) Thanks for posting the giveaway! I appreciate it.
Well, I'm not so fan of dystopian worlds because as I seen (read) they always have a really cruel, violence ad dark side or they just become DARK... there's no peace or love or beauty :( but from these series I'd choose The Uglies' world!
The handmaid's tale world. Yes I know you didn't post that book but hey it was an awesome read. Sad though but cool at the same time. I just hope I'm one of the rich people in that world XD
This really is a interesting question since dystopian worlds are always sort of terrible if you actually had to live in it but I'd choose The Host, it's my favorite book ever and I'd just love to share a cave with Ian O'Shea ;D
Ugh none of them, part of the whole dystopian thing is that there are major issues. But I guess I could make an exception for the Uglies world. Thanks!
Not entering, because I already have all of these (and have read them!). Since you've read the Hunger Games, I am assuming you haven't read some of the other books, in which case a)read Divergent; it is amazing! and b)Uglies is the best book in the series, but the others are worth reading, too, because the journey is quite interesting. Hope you get round to reading them soon! :)
Hmmm...Well for obvious reasons I really wouldn't want to live in any Dystopian world if I really had to choose one it would be Benny Imura's world in Rot & Ruin. Thanks for the giveaway!
Well, I think the idea of a dystopian world is that you not want to live there! lol. But if I had to choose, I think the outer space worlds in Glow and Across the Universe are very interesting.
From those books your offering... I have no idea. I would not want to live in the world of the Hunger Games but that's the only books I've read. So no answer to that question... Thanks for the great giveaway and for making it international!
Can't day I'd like to live into a dystopian world, especially after everything we read about them at the beginning of a series; well, I think if I'd have to live in a dystopian world, it would be the Hunger Games world, after the Capitol is defeated, and all is well. I mean, I can't say I'd like to live in the middle of a revolution.
I don't think I would want to live in any of them!!! But I guess maybe Matched? Since there is Xander and they can predict good things for you. Thanks for the giveaway!
I would like to live in The Hunger Games world. It doesn't seem very nice, but I'd really love to meet Katniss, Peeta, Peeta, Peeta and Peeta. I've already said Peeta? :D
Thanks for yet another amazing giveaway. I probably wouldn't want to live in any of those dystopian worlds, but if I had to choose I would go for Divergent
I'm gunna have to say no dystopian world would do it for me unless it was a world that resorted back to living like people did in medieval times. There's nothing better than fantasy :)
great giveaway!!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to live in Divergent.
ReplyDeleteI would like to live in the world of the book "Enclave. True it's probably one of the more harsh worlds but Deuce was just such a badass that I couldn't help but pick it.

ReplyDeleteJust an obervation.

I'd love to live in the world of Divergent.
ReplyDeleteThe Hunger Games world is too oppressive for me. So I'm going for Divergent but I'm probably not a Dauntless. Too chicken to jump off a building. :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to live in the world of Divergent too! :)
ReplyDeleteI've not read any other dystopian books other than the Hunger Games, and I certainly don't want to live there! lol!
ReplyDeleteWhat a hard question! I think I'd choose the world of Matched.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for the chance.

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure that I'd like to live in any of these dystopian worlds, because I'm a wimp! LOL But I guess I'd live in Divergent if I had to. I doubt I'd last long though ;)

I've never read The Uglies--sounds interesting! Thank you for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteThe world of Divergent would definitely be my choice. :)

ReplyDeleteThanks for a great giveaway! Divergent would be my choice of worlds.
ReplyDeleteI would want to live in none of them lol Because Dystop worlds are no fun lol

ReplyDeleteLove to win Divergent :)
ReplyDeleteI would say I would love to live in Divergent.
ReplyDeleteHello! I'm hoping to win Divergent since I haven't read it yet (bad, I know).
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure which society I would like to live in...hmmm...I honestly have no idea. :(

ReplyDeleteYou crossed 450!!
I haven't read enough dystopian to really be able to answer this, although I can tell you I would NOT want to live in the world of Wither! :P
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I'd want to live in ANY dystopian world... although Uglies had a pretty cool setting, I think.
ReplyDeleteI've not actually read a dystopian novel that I would WANT to live in. While it makes an amazing story, it makes for a crappy life.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!

ReplyDeleteI wouldn't really want to live in a dystopian world, but it would probably pick the world in Matched or the Hunger Games..
ReplyDeleteI can´t choose any dystopian world, they´re too dangerous....maybe Divergent.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I'd want to live in a dystopian world- the reason I like them so much, or one of the reasons, is because they are so unlike our own- they make you greatful...

I wouldn't want to live in any dystopian world, at least not one I've come across yet :) Everything is too controlled for my liking.
ReplyDeleteI'd be afraid to live in any of them. But if I had to choose I would choose Divergent.
ReplyDeleteAh, scary question! In general, 1984 by George Orwell. Only because it's the first and most creative dystopian/utopian!
ReplyDeleteI've read very little dystopian titles. The only one that comes to mind is Delirium and only because of the amazing love story. If I could run away with my love from a world like that... and survive, I guess I'd choose that.

Hunger Games! I know its horrible lol, but it'd be so interesting! Yeah I'd be the first one taken out but still... im a curious person :)
ReplyDeleteI think I'd love to live in Divergent since Hunger Games world seems really terrible.

ReplyDeleteI'd choose The Uglies world.
ReplyDeleteI think I'd got with the one in Uglies. There's a significant lack of poverty and the possibility of me jumping from buildings, so I think I'm safe.
ReplyDeleteI'd also be dumb and pretty, but hey I'm sure it wouldn't be that bad :P
thanks for the giveaway!!

ReplyDeleteUgh none of them, part of the whole dystopian thing is that there are major issues. But I guess I could make an exception for the Uglies world. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI would like to live in 'Dearly Departed' or 'Across the Universe'
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway opportunity and congrats on reaching such milestones.
I haven't read many, the only one that comes to mind is Across The Universe. It would be interesting to be on the ship

ReplyDeleteI feel like this is a very interesting question, as the whole premise of a dystopian world is that it is innately messed up.
ReplyDeleteThat said, I'd pick Divergent. Thank you Four. =)
Hi there, thank you for making this giveaway. I really hope I'll win. :) I'd love to live in the world of Divergent or The Hunger Games! :-bd
